Do you warm your bottles before giving them to LO?? My DH insists that we heat up the bottles but DD isn't fussy and will drink it cold. Is that bad? I was heating them but she gets so hysterical waiting for it!
DH typically just grabs a bottle of BM from the fridge and feeds it to her without heating it. She doesn't seem to mind.

BFP #3 10/6/12, EDD 6/16/12., Matilda born 6/17/13.
Ugggg.....DD will only take them warm, boarding on hot!
It's so bad that we sometimes have to heat it up during the middle of a feeding if it's cooled down too much. It's not something we want to do, we try to heat it up for less time, or giving it at room temp, but she spits it out and cries until it's warm.
I really think this was started in NICU, they heated up everything so she didn't have to use calories to warm it herself.

My DD will happily take anything. Formula is made at room temp though (with bottled water) and then BM is heated just because I feel bad giving her it cold.
We give DS room temp bottles. It will unhappily take a cold bottle if he is really hungry, if he can make himself wait, then he pushes it away till it gets to room temp. He will completely refuse warm bottles, it actually really funny to see his face.
We do to at least room temperature, usually more like body temperature. I mix a day's worth at once and keep it in the fridge and she won't really take it cold. There's no medical reason to warm it, just a personal preference, so if your LO will take it cold, save yourself the time and effort!

LO will drink them cold. My mom thinks that if she gets an upset tummy, it is because of the cold bottle. I think it is just a little gas(it doesn't happen all the time.)
