Leg pain, anyone??

My doctor told me to pay attention to my legs to see if they swell - I guess as a sign of edema. I haven't had any swelling at all. However, today as I got up to do the dishes, pain overcame my poor little legs!! As a result, I'm doing the dishes in short intervals and allowing myself lots of breaks to sit with my legs up. But still, when I get back up, my legs hurt :( Is this happening to anyone else?? Any recommendations??

Cramps and muscle spasms are normal. Drink a lot more water and put your feet up for awhile. I've heard you are supposed to eat bananas for cramps too, but I don't know about that. I've also heard that stretching before bed is helpful.
  • Thanks Ladies!! Today the pain is gone. I'm thinking that the baby must have been laying on a vein or something. Thanks for all the good advice.
