2 month old suddenly sleeping a TON

Anyone else? DD has been sleeping about 9 hours at night and then basically all day for the last 3 days. I don't know how else to describe it. She will sleep through her feedings by an hour or more, then eat, be awake for maybe 30mins and go right back to sleep. I think yesterday she was awake for a total of maybe 4-5 hours, which is not like her at all. She seems happy, is peeing and pooing fine and does not show signs of a fever. Could this be a growth spurt?

My little guy has been doing that today and he just turned 2 months on Friday. Must be a phase they go through...

We are at 7 weeks and are having the same sleeping pattern. I have taken his temperature 4x today just to make sure (and he is fussy in-between naps). He is eating ok and has enough pee diapers so I am chalking it up to a growth spurt. I read something that said they need to sleep extra because of the hormones so it is like they are hibernating.

That's how DD has been all day today! She doesn't normally take long naps during the day, but she's been asleep the entire day with the exception of a few short wake periods. But she's been unusually fussy when she is awake, acting like she's absolutely exhausted and wanting to nurse constantly. It seems like a growth spurt to me!

Our LO has been in the same pattern. Previously, he was still waking every 3-4 hours to eat, but 4 days ago he started sleeping 9-11 hours, straight through all regular nighttime feedings. He also takes 3-4 naps throughout the day, approximately 1-2 hour each time! Today he has been a little more fussy and definitely eating more. I am chalking it up to some kind of phase/growth spurt, although I also think he needs to eat more during the day in order to sleep this long at night.
