Swamp butt (TMI)

There was a post a whiiiiile back about what somebody called swamp butt. Well, I think i've got it. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, do you have any solutions?

    To me it kinda sounds like swass (sweaty a**), but I have no idea from your description, haha.

    Haha, well my butt crack is itching like crazy, it's kind of tender too. I know it's not a hemroid, because it the butt crack, not the actual hole, lol.

    Oh, haha. I've never heard of it. It almost sounds like a rash, I would see a doctor to see if they have some sort of ointment that can help.

    Or maybe someone else with personal experience will have a better answer :)

    Try Diaper Rash cream.  I got a nice rash from wearing my regular thong underwear that as of now are put away until after baby.  I used my son's cream, Beaudraux (sp?) Buttpaste and I was much better by morning.

    The best thing to do is to try to keep the area clean and dry--not the easiest thing when it's 100 damn degrees outside.  Powder may help.  I saw some at Sam's Club called "Anti-Monkey Butt" powder and I was going to get it for DH.  He works outside in the heat a lot so he gets "swamp butt" sometimes.  We've just been using Gold Bond powder--which stings at first, but does seem to help.

    Hahaha! This post made me lol! I know what you are talking about though. I think mine started from the heat/sweating, and then was tender and itchy. I put some neosporin ointment on it a few times and some goldbond powder. All better! Still gets so hot though....oy!!
