Hello!
We are currently using 6.0 oz. bottles, however, yesterday I purchased 9.0 oz. bottles because I have a feeling our LO's will be graduating up to 7.0 oz. per feeding very soon (they will be 3 months on August 1st and are currently at 6.0 oz. pumped breastmilk and supplemented formula each).
Anywho, this got me thinking this morning about when (and if) we should also switch to the medium flow nipples. When did your LO's switch, if they switched at all?
Thanks!

Re: When did your LO's make the change from slow to medium flow nipples?
I never had a problem with how long it took Jack to drink a bottle. He was always really good about sucking it down. So we never changed nipple sizes, and I was happy about this because it saved us the money. But when we introduced sippy cups I think it was harder for him because it came out so fast, and when he sucked he would choke on it and spit it out. I think had we gone to a faster nipple flow he would have been more prepared for the fast flow of sippies.
This doesn't answer your question but gives you something to think about in the future.

Ditto. And OMG SEVEN oz per feeding?!?!? DD will barely eat 5 oz. We haven't increased her amount since she was about 5 or 6 months & she won't take anymore than 5oz per feeding, about 25 oz per day, so that's great for the twins! I can't wait till she's off formula b/c she acts like she hates it.
