Should I leave my husband?

OK, well not REALLY.  OK, DH is out of town & I've been on a diet/fitness routine, doing really well.  Until he comes home.  He's such a bad influence!  I'd gone to the gym every single day when he was gone, and eaten VERY well, lost 4.5 pounds.  Well, DH came home & I didn't go to the gym once, and I gained 3 pounds.  Ugh.

I guess I need to learn to say no or something,  haha.  Well, he's gone again, so I will re-double my efforts!

Re: Should I leave my husband?

  • Lol.  Its the same way with DH and me.  We bought all sorts of Weight Watcher cookbooks and he'd make a meal out of them that was really good, then during dinner he'd admit he added extra butter, cream, sugar, etc. to improve the flavor- and be damned proud of himself too.

  • lol.  Yep.

I'm the same way, I would eat a salad or cereal for dinner but when MH is around I eat big dinners.  Ridic.

  • My husband has such a sweet tooth!  It ruins me.  He is able to workout for an hour almost every day but I usually only get a half hour a couple times per week (I could do more but I don't want to wake up at 4:30).  I'd be happy with half a peach for dessert but no, he's all "do you want a Blizzard?" then of course I want a effing Blizzard.

  • Yeah, if they weren't such good enablers!  And, yeah I would have salad for dinner and no dessert just fine.  However, steak, potatoes, etc. AND a blizzard for dessert?  Oh, yeah - sign me up. lol
