Baptism invite ?

For the ladies out there who had their LO baptized...did you invite everyone (family and close friends) to both the ceremony at the church and the reception? Or did you have only family at the church then others at the reception? I am not sure what the norm is and/or what proper etiquette is on this one! Thanks

We had friends and family at both. Our church allowed 2 pews per child, but you could call and ask for more.

We only invited family, plus our 2 best friends (DD's godparents, married to each other). They were all invited to the ceremony and to our house for the party. Our friends and family have always had family-only baptisms, so that just seemed natural to us.
