damian thomas came at 34 weeks 5 days. he weighed 5lbs and was 19 in long. he is breathing on his own but has a feeding tube, some fluid on his lungs, jaundice, etc. We're hopeful he'll come home in two weeks but we don't know yet. I had been on bed rest for seven days after having preterm contractions but no dilation, magnesium and procardia. I saw my doctor Wed. who said she didn't thinks he needed to put me on the monitor or do an internal. Four hours later, my contractions felt stronger, four hours after that I went to the hospital and was 3 cm. One hour after that my water broke, one hour after that i got the epidural, and one hour after that he was born! It was quick and much less painful than my first delivery. I am pumping and trying to help him latch on. Good luck to all of you ladies!
