We had our first shower this past Saturday (I still can't believe I'm saying that, let alone it actually happened!) - it was absolutely wonderful! My mom, BFF and aunt hosted... they did an amazing job. Approx 30 of our family and friends came out to welcome Owen, the love and support was overwhelming!
Place settings - each mini rubber ducky had a raffle number on the bottom and my BFF made all of the cookie favors... delish!

It was such an amazing day, I am so grateful and so blessed!
Owen got some awesome stuff - people did a great job utilizing our registry and there were only a few duplicates, which was fine because we had just enough returns to purchase our car seat! There are actually only a few "big ticket" items (if you can even call them that) left on the registry and we still have one more shower coming up in a couple of weeks.
I spent the majority of yesterday sorting through everything and trying to organize as much as possible. I just still cannot believe how much stuff he got! I literally cried when we were done opening everything and was thanking everyone for coming... I have the best friends and family!
