I am a FTM so I didn't know this is uncommon, DD has been standing and putting full weight on her feet for like, 3-4 weeks! She also hates tummy time, so I am wondering if she will skip crawling and go right to walking...
My DS also wants to stand all the time and if he doesn't get to stand, then he gets really fussy till i put him on his feet. Very cute, but my arms are getting so tired! He also REALLY hates tummy time!
Is this uncommon?? DD does this ALL day! If I want to calm her down I either put her on the floor standing or I hold her hands and pull her into a sitting position.

This is our daughter. She doesn't HATE tummy time, but she would much rather stand than be on her stomach. The doctor was impressed when he meant to pull her up into a sitting position, and she just decided she wanted to stand
DS has been doing this since the first time I put him on his playmat at around 2 weeks old. He hates tummy time, but he loves standing on a couple of pillows looking over the back of the couch out the window at the backyard.
The pillow thing really saves my arms. I still have to sit right next to him to catch him if he starts to fall over but I don't have to hold him the whole time. I usually have my arm resting on the back of the couch while I hold the back of his onesie.
DS does the same thing; he has pretty good neck control so we decided to pull out the exersaucer and he LOVES it! We pack him in there with a blanket so he doesn't flop around, and he just stands up and smiles.

My LO has never liked laying down. She has wanted to sit or stand since she was born.

This exactly! My DS does more crunches than I do.
