Hello, starting next week I'll be a SAHM for at least the next 4 mos. My 26 month old DD has been in a day care environment for the past 1.5 yrs and I'm worried about being able to provide enough structured learning activities for her. I'm planning to balance free play with 'learning/educational' play. Was wondering if you have any activities or web sites/blogs you follow which help layout teaching opportunities.
TIA
Re: Suggestions/websites for 2 yr old learning activities
https://www.productiveparenting.com is a good one, too!
I've been doing planned activities with my 18 month old twins for the last month. I create 6 workboxes for the week and then pull 2-3 out a day for the girls to play with. I've found great things searching for "Tot School" and "Tot Trays." A lot of the blogs are Christian based but the activities are not. My favorites:
