Should I call my OB?

I'm on CD 24 & 5 DPO, and taking Progesterone to help with regulating my cycles. Starting Friday, I've had some light spotting (brown in color, no red) and today I've been having really mild cramping. In my last couple cycles, AF hasn't started until my pills were done...but I'm wondering if I should call my OB to ask what's going on (since I'm supposed to have a blood test on CD3 once AF shows). Or if I should chalk it up to nothing...or implantation bleeding (although it seems too early). Any advice? TIA!

Re: Should I call my OB?

  • I would because of the blood work stuff.  I know nothing of cycle testing and progesterone so my advice is not terribly informed but I'd rather a Dr. tell me it was too soon than to miss it.

I tend to think of implantation bleeding as happening around DPO 6-7 so it seems like you're in the range to me.

  • I would call your ob just to be on the safe side. Better to know for sure than to second guess, right? That's what I'd do...and what I did.
