Awesome day yesterday - oh, and she turned

For some reason, DH and I weren't sure if we wanted to spend the money for a 3D ultrasound, and we put off scheduling it until last week, so I had it yesterday at 35w, which I know is pretty late. The tech warned us that she'd do whatever she could, but sometimes when you're further along there is less amniotic fluid and good images aren't possible, so we may just have to settle for measurements, in which case they'd charge us a lot less.

She asked "Now, do you know for a fact it's a breech?" " Yeah, I just saw my OB yesterday. Does it help?" She said "sometimes that helps, sometimes it makes no difference". So I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best.

So we start the procedure and, shut the front door- Babeh SM&S had turned. I was flabbergasted - how the he'll do you not feel that? I did have a lot of movement Thurs night, but nothing that felt different. Someone else told me hers turned one night whole she was asleep, too.....amazing.

So, the after the tech finally managed to get Babeh to take her hand off her face, we got some great images ( which I will post later). She looks so much like her daddy, my MIL will pee herself when she sees these pictures There was plenty of amniotic fluid, which is suprising given she's at 35w AND she's at the 69th percentile for size. I can't believe how lucky we got!

After the ultrasound, we met with our doula and finalized the birth plan. All in all, a very good day
