    I just got back from a kids' birthday party, and I'm eating some homemade chocolate ice cream and lounging around.  Margaux is totally napping, my sister is napping, and Rom's working in the computer.

    Last night I woke up around 4AM, and thought "Why am I awake?  Am I in labor?  Hmmm, no pain, drat.  Just the heat."

    Looks like I'll miss my doctor being on call this weekend.

    Boo to your doc not being on call. And double boo to waking up at 4am for no reason!

    Hope the heat's not too terrible for you. I still shudder when remembering the heat 2 summers ago. Blech!
