Poll: Kid free long weekend getaway favorites

Where would you go for a long 4-5 day weekend (think Thurs-Mon) trip with you and your hubby...or you and girlfriends.  I'm in need of some new ideas :-) TIA!

    Charleston.  And I would wear stretchy pants because I would eat the entire time.  The best food ever.

    If you don't want to travel to far, the Ritz at Reynolds Plantation is awesome!! My dh and I went for a weekend and it was so nice. Relaxing, good food, good service, nice spa - everything that makes for a great weekend. The best part was it didn't take us long to get there.

    We are actually going to Tybee Island for family vacation and have been to Asheville about 5 times and Savannah 2 times.  Girlsgetaway trip is usually Myrtle too.

    Charleston, New Orleans... mmm - I would eat the whole time.  Or Cancun's only a 2-hr flight!

    yeah, I would do costa rica, it was cheap and only a 4 hour flight and ridiculously awesome.  but what about seaside/seagrove/rosemary beach, renting a condo there?  we're looking at doing some 4-5 day trips and we're looking at like the upper northeast (maine/NH/VT), portland, CA wine country, sedona AZ, CO....

    Flying or driving? 

     

    Driving:  Charleston, St. Augustine, Asheville, panhandle beaches

     

    Flying:  Santa Fe (just did santa fe with girlfriends, it was a blast!), San Fran/Napa or Sonoma, Puerto Rico, Denver, Costa Rica

    In the fall you could do a cabin in the mountains of north Georgia or TN. We stayed near pigeon forge last summer and liked it.

    Our Lucaya Resort (in the Bahamas) and stay at the Westin.  They have deals on the hotel all the time--plus it's loaded with infnity pools and swim up bars:)
