She gives a compliment and takes it away in the same breath.

DD came into my room the other morning and climbed up on my bed.  I could tell she was about an inch away from my face but I kept my eyes closed until she tapped my shoulder.  Then she said, "Mom, you look so graceful when you sleep..."

Then she could have followed that up with "you look just like a sleeping ballerina."  But nope, my dramatic little thing follows up with, "you look just like a DEAD ballerina!"

Nice.

    LOL.

    Gracie came in the kitchen this morning and said, "I love you SO much!" So I of course say, "Aw, I love YOU so much!" Then she states, "I was talking to my bear mommy, NOT YOU."

    Bummer.
