Seriously? You really asked me that?
We had a party last night with my dad's brothers and sisters (my dad is from a family of 15 kids) and my dad's oldest brother asked me if "they were doing any brain wave testing" on my son.
Are you kidding me? You are seriously asking me if my kid is brain damaged?
Somehow I kept calm and quickly shot him down with "His cognitive functioning seems to be fine. In fact his pediatrician thinks he is perfect."
FWIW, my aunt (uncle's wife) wanted the floor to open up and swallow her whole. Also, my uncle is in his late 70's and his cognitive functioning is clearly in question.
