I think I want to wear #2 with the ergo...is this a good idea. What is the difference between the original, sport, and performance if you have used them? Thanks!!
I have an Ergo with DD1 and I LOVE IT. We took a trip away from home for a week when she was 11months old and I used it exclusively. I nearly threw away my cheap umbrella stroller I hated it so much. LOL. I plan on using it with DD2 as soon as my C/S heals enough to allow it comfortably. It is so easy to use and comfortable. I can't say enough good things.
I didn't get the newborn insert, I just used a blanket folded the same way.
If you need to babywear in the very early days I'd skip the infant insert and purchase a Moby for about the same price. I have the infant insert, but didn't need it very long. I was more comfortable in a wrap when DD was itty bitty. The Ergo is very easy and it's comfortable. I think I just have the original one. It's Galaxy Grey.

All of this. I have the original Ergo in camel. I have tried the others at bw meetings and I really don't like them. I also have a Kinderpack (another SSC), which I prefer to the Ergo since it has cushier straps, seems to fit better on my petite frame and has a higher back that I like better now that LO's torso is longer (but they aren't easy to get and they are more expensive).
Fortunate to be a SAHM to my 3 musketeers (5/2006, 5/2010 & 12/2011).
Soy & dairy free for the 3rd and final time.
