XP from FB: Prayers Please

Prayers needed. One of my very best friends had her baby last night. Jaeyda Leigh was born at 24 weeks gestation weighing 1lb. 10 oz. DS was born at 34 weeks, I couldn't even imagine having him at 24 weeks. I'm over here bawling my eyes out. My friend just kept telling me she didn't know what she did wrong. Her water broke Wednesday night and they have no idea why. Yesterday the doctor gave her medicine to try and stop the contractions and had hoped to keep her on bedrest in the hospital for 10 weeks. She lives in TN and I'm in NY. I feel so helpless. Please pray for her family.

    She is definitely in my prayers.  This happened to a co-worker of mine... also at 24 weeks.  Her DH basically stayed in the hospital until his actual due date in February and now he is at home and from what I know, healthy for the most part! Hopefully the doctors take amazing care of that little girl.  It's so sad, but she can fight through it!

    Thanks everyone! I know she and her husband will really appreciate it. As of right now they don't expect Jaeyda to come home before her due date (in November) and they want her to grow to at least 5 lbs. I will continue to update.
