Trying to Get Pregnant

anyone find a nabothian cyst before?

So I just started checking my CM and CP yesterday. Everything felt fine, firm, high and what I think was somewhat medium open. I'm 11dpo (I think, about to start charting), and expecting AF Sunday. So I went to check things today and felt a bump, what felt like right next to the opening of the cervix. WTF was that?!? It wasn't there yesterday! So I jumped online and found it could be a nabothian cyst. I am prone to clogged oil glands here and there, nothing new. These cysts seem totally normal, come and go, nothing to be concerned about. So if you have felt these, what did they feel like? This felt like a small blueberry and didn't hurt. I am reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility and haven't reached that part yet, for sure am going to read up on it ASAP. Any info is appreciated!

Re: anyone find a nabothian cyst before?

  • I thought nabothian cysts were the little things that felt like grains of sand. Which I think I may have felt once, but I'm not 100% sure. I'd just keep an eye on it, and if it gets bigger or becomes painful, go see your dr.

  • I had one during my April and May cycles.  I was worried, like you, and mentioned this to my new OB.  She checked it out, it was gone by then and she said that's what it was.  She said nothing to worry about, they just happen sometimes.

  • Thanks! Reading this feels a little better, but wow, weird bump, not here one day, and here the next. I did some reading in TCOYF, I guess they're common and clear up on they're own. Phew!
  • Step away from Dr. Google.

  • Yep, I was going to suggest reading TCOYF. I have them in different places all the time.
