Outcome of PG when ultrasound shows 6 wks 1 day not 8 wks

Hello everyone,

I am new to this community.  Hopefully I will be here another 7-8 mo!  I had a mc 1.5 years ago.  I am going to be 41 next month. Finally got pg again!  I thought going in for the ultrasound would be reassuring when hearing the heartbeat. I saw and heard the heartbeat yesterday, but the measurements came back 6 wks 1 day rather than 8 weeks.  I spoke to the dr afterword, he hopes everthing is ok but asked if I ever thought about invetro.  I do not go back for another 6 weeks.   Last time we had the ultrasound at 12 weeks and there was no heartbeat and measured 6  wks 5 days.  My bbs are still sore and full, I feel more nauses today than I ever have (prob b/c I am sooo worried) Anyone else had or going thru this same situation?  What was the outcome?

    Sorry to hear you are going through this.  I can't offer any advice as I haven't been in this situation but I have had a prior m/c and I know how nerve wracking it is when you finally get pg after a m/c.  GL!
