I'm bored so I'm posting a GTKY post.
If you could have one hairstyle and have zero repercussions, what would you do? I'm kind of funky so I would do dreadlocks. I'm planning to go to Africa someday and I might actually do it then, since I'd be in an area that is pretty poor and I wouldn't be able to shower all that often. I've already done all the other colors and styles that I would've wanted to try, so dreads is all I have left.

You could totally pull it off! You have that "look!" With your eyes, go for it! Just maybe... try for the clean dreads, not the fuzzy, messed up, super dirty looking dreads, the "clean" dreads, kind of like in your attached pic.

I can't find a good pic of the thing she has going on on NY Ink, but I dig the shaved part. I'd totally rock jet black with some awesome color accents if I had the guts.

dreadlocks are surprisingly high maintenance, especially if you want them to look good and you have naturally straighter hair. I tried them just before college and ended up just cutting them all out after 2 months because i didn't have time for all the rolling, waxing, etc.
my dream hair would be a short spiky crimson fauxhawk, but since I'm a teacher and there are about a billion dress code violations in that 'do, it is not in my future. I'd also love to have my nose priced again, with just a delicate little stone in it.That may be, but they LOOK the exact opposite. Rather, it looks like you haven't showered in days and just rolled out of bed. But, apparently BV only cares about how someones make-up and clothing looks.

Right now I am loving feather extensions. I'm a VP at an elementary school though and I don't think they would be perceived as professional.

Just wanted to let you know, blindvictory, I had dreads for about a year, and it was my fav hairstyle EVER! No matter what I did or didn't do with my hair, it ALWAYS looked adorable. I know people have strong feeling about dreads, many of them negative, but I for one miss mine so bad. They are REALLY high maintenance, but oh so worth it. I highly suggest trying it out!

I love the side-shaved look.
My hair is fine and somewhat thin so I've only had my hair longish with long layers and I have to fix it everyday unless I want it in a pony. For that reason, I'd pretty much do anything but what it is.
I wish it were thicker and I could pull off bangs like hers!

This is pretty much exactly what I was going to say. My hair is really fine and pin-straight. I would love to have a head-full of thick, shiny hair and lately I've been totally infatuated with bangs. Wish I could pull them off.

I have very long thick hair, it curls naturally when it is air-dried and scrunched. I have long layers in it presently. If I had the money to hire someone to do my hair in updos and half updos everyday, I would.

I wish I had the guts to re-do my Victoria Beckham bob cut. However, DH hates my hair when it is short. It's so easy to do though... oh I miss it!
My hair would never in a million years stay curly like this (without professional help) but I would love it if I could have my hair like this.
THAT'S what those are called. I've always wondered what that hairstyle's name was! I love those.
