I got a chance to put my mom in her place the other day.
Niece and I were playing. I was blowing raspberries and she was copying me.
Her mom got mad, told her to stop spitting, and then decided it was time for her to go to bed.
Niece is looking over my sister's shoulder and I let out one more little raspberry which she then returned and just belly laughed. It was hysterical.
My mom is sitting there, turns to me and goes "you would be pissed off if she (my sister) did that to you (my imaginary child)."
"No I wouldn't mom, we were just playing."
"Yes you would. You wouldn't want people teaching your child bad habits."
"Well I don't really have to worry about that now do I mom?"
Seriously. We were blowing raspberries, it's not like I was teaching her how to flip the bird.
That doesn't come until she's at least 3.
Re: speaking of stupid/heartless things people say
Ha. Agreed.
Although, I would love to be a fly on the wall the first time your niece tries the raspberries trick with a mouthful of baby food.
Yes how dare you blow raspberries and teach her bad things!
::goes back to blowing raspberries with the duo::
That's actually one of our favorite games. My only rule is that they can't do it with food in their mouths because EWWWW.
