I noticed that a few people here have the EBF badge and their LOs are older than mine (almost 10 months). I've been trying to introduce DD to solids since she was about 7 months but she isn't at all interested. We are still breastfeeding, almost exclusively. I'm beginning to get concerned that she will never eat solids or that she will somehow be damaged by the lack of solid foods. Am I the only one going through this? Am I overreacting?
Re: Exclusive Breast Feeding
I wouldn't worry about it. Solids are only for practice and learning new flavors and texture at this age, so keep offering. Even though she may not eat much or any of it, she will eat them eventually.

I learned the best sentence on this board when DD didn't eat much at all before 10-11 months:
Food before one, is just for fun!
Repeat this to yourself every time your DD is done with eating before you would like her to be :-)
LO just started getting super interested in solids the past week and now won't nurse
It really depends on the child but it's all for practice. Just try to place food in front of her at mealtimes and see how she does.
ETA: The EBF badge for me only applies to milks given to baby. If they are never given formula, they're EBF. I don't think it applies to solids as it's assumed all babies will begin to eat solids at some point.
Francesca Pearl is here! Josephine Hope is almost 3!
I'm gonna steal that!
