NCDR - Help! Where do you buy your bras?

Ugh!  I'm so frustrated with bra shopping.  I do not have one single bra that fits correctly.  I am so uncomfortable ALL of the time.  Where do you shop for bras, particularly you fellow mamas that are "blessed" with larger (DD+) cup sizes...?

Help! TIA!

Re: NCDR - Help! Where do you buy your bras?

  • If you haven't had a bra fitting, I highly recommend. Turns out I was wearing the wrong cup size. I got a fitting at Nordstrom and splurged on a couple of bras. Since then I shop at outlets or Kohls for bras.

  • I have also heard Nordstrom from a few friends.  It's supposedly well worth the extra money.  I will be heading there after we are done nursing.  I live in nursing bras and tanks until then!

  • Hi friend!  Long time no see!

I second Nordstrom's for a fitting.  It's how I got hooked on Calvin Klein bras!

  • I found the perfect bra. I have 42 DD, so I can relate. I don't usually buy Victorias secret bras, because they are too expensive. But this bra is just so comfortable, I will buy it over and over again.

  • I'm cheap - I buy my bras at Target. It will be hard to find any larger than a DD at Target though, so I'm nervous for when my milk comes in as I'm currently a 38 DD.

  • We have a couple of stores in the area that go up to larger sizes.  They are $60+ a bra but I'd rather get a few good bras that make me look good rather than more cheap ones that are uncomfortable and give me the double boob affect.  I like places where they will help fit you and bring you bras because they're so good at finding things that will be right for you.  It's rather awkward standing in your bra having another women tell you that it looks good but it helps!

  • Thanks so much for the replies.  Looks like I'll be heading to Nordstrom this weekend!  I was trying to avoid a killer price tag but at this point I'll pay ANYTHING.

  • I just bought two Spanx Brallelujahs (sp?).  Expensive but sooo comfie.

    Nordstroms should sell them.

  • Ditto Nordstrom.  I'm a 32 E so it's hard for me to find bras.  They're expensive but so worth it.

  • I was fitted at Victoria's Secret and then watched the sales for their half off bra weekend!  I was about to buy like 3 bras for 40 bucks.
