Home Aquarium = BIG time entertainment for LO

I don't know if any of you are aquarium owners, but just today Liam became TOTALLY interested in the aquarium. (Well, Jared spent hours yesterday cleaning it, so now it's gorgeous and crystal clear.) We turned Liam's swing to face the aquarium, and he stared at it while we did some things around the house.

And whenever we hold him and show him the aquarium, he watches the fish in complete amazement. He holds his head up all the way and even pushes up with his hands on my chest to see better.

I just thought I'd post this in case anyone has an aquarium and is looking for ways to entertain your LO. We also have the board book, Hooray for Fish, so maybe there's a theme going with his interests ;-) Future ichthyologist, maybe?

    We LOVE fish. At our baby shower we recieved a lamp that looks like an aquarium and the images spin so it looks like everything moves. My husband is a huge reptile guy we have three ball pythons and we are always in pet stores. We have a super neat one that has three rooms of tanks that are back lit and the room itself is dark. We are just wide eyes and bushy tailed in there. I cant wait to get Max and actual tank. I can only clean so much poop right now though :)

    The one at the doctor's office still amazes my 2.5 year old.  Might be worth an investment if you like fish!  Wink
