Nancy Snyderman dispelling VBAC myths!

I was so excited to see Nancy Snyderman on the Today Show today talking about VBAC and the rising c-section rate.  Her stats were spot on and she was very clear about VBAC being the safest option for most women with a prior cesarean.  It was a quick segment but for someone who may believe "once a c-section, always a c-section" her message could be a real eye opener.

So cool to see this well founded position being represented in the mainstream media!

(I just googled to try to find a video for those who didn't catch it, and I guess a little over a year ago they did a live c-section on the Today show and she had some not too factual things to say about birth.....so, maybe this is her way to remedying some misinformation she shared previously.  I give two thumbs up to today's broadcast.)

    I watched this today as well!! I loved how she was optimistic when saying 99% of VBAC's will labor or birth vaginally without problem! It's nice to see it on national T.V! I thought she did great, I wish the segment would have been longer!

    They posted the video today (it's at the end of the Mammography video).  It was good, I just wish they had more time on these shows.  Everything always feels so rushed.
