"You win. This is really hard"

The exact phrase DH said to me this morning after he agreed to be the one to get up with DS throughout last night.Smile We had gotten in a pretty big fight yesterday because I told him I was exhausted from getting up with DS every 2 hours for the past month and trying to juggle work and school while not getting a stretch of sleep for more than 2 hours and asked if he would help out more. His initial response was that he would be willing to help me out and take over a night when he is done with this 2 week class he is in right now (he sits in a classroom and listens to lectures from 8-5, sounds exhausting right?) but until then I was on my own. Needless to say that comment didn't sit well with me (especially since I have finals before his two week class is up and my classes were a prior comment than this last minute 2 week thing of his). We both said some less than nice things--I told him he was a parent only when it was convenient to him, etc. Well we resolved things last night and he felt bad about not helping me out and agreed to give me a night off and take over the nighttime duties. Apparently DS didn't make it all that easy on him (way to go buddy!) and I think he definitely has more respect for how much work I actually do Big Smile
