I was induced with DD1 and now have another induction date scheduled for Tuesday. I'm curious as to know if the induction will be quicker second time around? My first induction took 24 hours in total.
i was induced thursday morning at 6am and had DS saturday at 415pm. i had to have the gel put in twice. i also had to have my water broken and then after all that had an emerg C section!!!
good luck with your induction - fingers crossed it goes quick for you!
This was my first and it took right at 9 hours. SIL has four kids, induced with all of them the fourth took the longest at right around 14 hours. Don't know if that held but I thought I'd throw it out there.
His three plus my one; we are all excited to welcome a little one!
14 hours from the start of pitocin. I did have cervadil put in the night before so I guess technically it was over 24 hours, but I was in active labor for 14.
I think it depends on how far along you are. They started my pitocin between 10 and 10:30, broke my water at 12:30 and I was ready to push about 8:15 started pushing about 9:30 ish and pushed for well over an hour.

I was induced both times. DS (first) was 21 hours from the time they put the Cervadil in and 9 hours from when they started Pitocin. I was already 3 cm with DD, so I didn't need Cervadil. Again, it took 9 hours after they started PItocin.
I got induced at 8:30 am and had my daughter at 5:08 pm. So a total of 7 1/2 hours... but I progressed a lot faster than any of us thought I would! I was 40 weeks, 1 day.

I was admitted to the hospital around 6:30 Tuesday evening. The doctor broke my water at 7am on Wednesday and LO was born at 12:16pm, so total about 18 hours
