Wow! I'm surprised at how many of those fit me. I would have never considered myself a hippy mom, but I have 11 and probably 12 after the next DC (plan to look into and probably pursue placenta encapsulation to see if it helps with PPA since I've had it rough after #2).
Cute :-) I got a bunch of them, (I've always been a "tree hugging hippie, even before having a child.) I would have more except for things beyond my control or knowledge at the time. If there is ever another LO in our future, I would be able to check off more though. "you know you're a counter-culture mama" on mamaeve's blog is good too, you should all check it out (her blog is good in general!)
And I. Moderately hippie, one might say. lol They forgot to put shops only at the farmers market whenever possible. That one would have bumped me up to 11.
I didn't eat it in the sense of having a smoothie or cooking it (though I understand doing that -- or even eating it raw -- is best), but I did have it encapsulated. The hormones in it help with post partum depression, and I'm sure there are other benefits that I can't think of right now
Re: You know you're a hippy mama when ...
I'm an eleven
Sufficiently hippy!
I'm a 10. Hippy enough.
Francesca Pearl is here! Josephine Hope is almost 3!
I am totally a hippy mama. and i'm pretty sure most people think i am a hippy mama (even though i'm not really a hippy)
Hopefully they don't think I'm a *dirty* hippy mama though!!!!
Come on Sticky baby!!
