Name spelling debate

We have decided that we are naming our son Quinn. We had initially planned on spelling it with 2 n's. DH has apparently been doing a lot of thinking about this and has decided that Quin appears more masculine(?)
Quinn James A**** or Quin James A**** What do you think?

Chopping off an n does nothing to make Quinn more masculine. I suggest an unambiguously masculine mn. James is perfect.

Something else to consider: Most people spell Quinn like I just did. If you spell it with only one n, chances are his name will be misspelled often because people will add the double n (school, work, etc.). I'm a teacher and I have to say, I understand the uniqueness of making a baby name your own, but it really does complicate things for the child. They'll always have to correct others and that could get annoying.

And as a side note, I knew people who spelled it Quynh and Kwinn. Both horrible spellings.

ITA. Quinn, should be spelled as such, but Melony makes a case for some names. Such as I know of a few men with Lyn as a mn. Whereas my mother's middle name is Lynn.
