Anyone have spotting during breastfeeding? (posted on bfeeding board too)

Hi Everyone,

I am a lurker as for some reason I can never post anything from my Ipad...But now I have my DH's laptop so I can post...lol Anyway, I have a 14 almost 15 week old and have been spotting about a week and a half. It stopped for one day...never picks up to a period so I don't think it's my period. I have read online that you can have spotting throughout breastfeeding. She still feeds about 8 times a day and once during the night, but we never go more than 4 hours between a feeding. I have not introduced solids and she rarely takes a bottle...

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with spotting while bfeeding...

And if anyone is using an Ipad, do you know how we can post from there? The keyboard won't type any letters on the message body :(

    Me. I spotted when DS was 6 weeks old. I called it AF, but it was really light, so I guess it would be spotting. And its happening again 8 weeks later. It's not even enoug to wear anything, but more just when I wipe I see it.

    I spotted for a day back when he was like 6 o 8 weeks old.  I thought it was AF, but it only lasted one day.  My MW said that it was not AF, and totally normal.  However, if I were you, I would maybe take this as a head's up that you may be ovulating again. 

    And, I don't have an iPad, but it sounds like the issue that I had with my droid.  The girls here told me to disable JavaScript, and it totally solved the problem.  Only trouble is that to be on a lot of other sites, you need Java, so I'm always turning it on and off, but it's worth it. HTH.

    I spotted for 3 or 4 days around week 8.  i thought it was AF, but then never was heavy enough to probably be my period. But i had also started the mini-pill about a week prior to that. So I blamed it on the introduction of the new hormone.
