We're tossing around the idea of taking Jake to Sesame Place for a few days next week...but we're in need of some hotel recs. We don't need anything fancy- just clean and not too $$ would be nice too THANKS!
I don't know how cheap it is, but my BFF stays at the Marriott (Courtyard? Suites?) across the street all the time and loves it. I think they also have a shuttle over so you don't have to pay for parking.
Have a great time!
Unexplained. IVF#2 worked! Beta at 10dp6dt = 154, Beta at 13dp6dt = 603
We're going with our Jake August 11-13 with my ILs.
We're staying at the Marriott Residence Inn across the street. Parking at SP is $15 per car, so we're saving some money using the shuttle. Plus they have free breakfast. Cha-ching!
We got a 2 day pass. You really can't get a 1 day pass, weird. Anyway, our plan is to drive up Friday. Spend Saturday morning at the park and then we booked a lunch with Elmo and friends. That was extra money. Then we'll take Jacob back for a nap. And then come back in the afternoon.
For Sunday, we'll take advantage of the place in the morning and then head back home in the afternoon.
I know million$$baby has season passes and I was going to PM with some questions about the best rides, time of day to do things, water park, etc.
I know my Jake will LOVE it, seeing as Elmo and the rest of the Sesame Street gang are his BFFs right now.
There actually is a one day pass but it the I think 2 dollars cheaper than the 2 day pass...really stupid. BUT the two passes do not have to be used back to back. Just has to be used by the end of the season (which I believe is October for SP).
I have never stayed at hotel there because it is not that far for me.
They have restrictions on the size of the coolers that can come inside the park. The food at the dining is okay but so worth it if your child loves Elmo and friends. My advice is do whatever dry rides you want first.
Cabana rentals are really nice too but not cheap!

I stayed at the Courtyard. I really liked it but it is probably not the cheapest option. I just really like to have a suite and I will tell you, it was one of the best suites I've ever stayed in-- HUGE. I did buy my tickets through the marriott site as a package and it was cheaper than doing it through the sesame place site so that is something to keep in mind. It was super easy with the shuttle and the restaurant/bar was nice too.
