We had to purchase the Key Fit to get our tiny guy home from the hospital. It was certainly an unexpected $180.00 expense.
We used it obviously until our son outgrew it. It's in great shape. We want to try to recoup some cost but know we can't ask a lot on CL, etc. we were thinking $50.00?
We've had bad luck getting a lot from Once Upon a Child but didn't know if anyone knew if they paid ok for equipment versus clothes?
We also have a Graco travel system stroller/infant seat we held onto from our daughter hoping to use for our son. It's in a little rougher shape because we did use the stroller before we got an umbrella stroller for him.
We were thinking of asking $30.00 for it?
Thoughts? Suggestions?
Thanks in advance!
Re: Sell the infant seat or take it to Once Upon a Child?
I dont think that Once Upon A Child will buy the infant seat from you. I've only ever seen the infant seat basis when I go in. The might take the stroller though. You could always list them on Ebay or Craigslist. Price wise I'm not sure what the going rate is or if you'll get to many interested buyers since its not advised to buy a used car seat.
I would do some research and watch some sales on Ebay and see what they seem to go for.

this, Once Upon A Child, can not legally buy/sell used carseats.
I sold my entire Chicco travel system (stroller, carrier, and base) to Once Upon A Child and they gave me $50 for everything.
Editing to add in that I sold it recently, maybe two months ago. They did check the expiration date on the carseat and inspected everything thoroughly before they bought it.
