Hi everyone! Im new to the boards...can someone please tell me what the princess mafia is?

hi everyone. im writing this from my phone and it wont let me write capital letters...grr...anyways...dh and i have just started ttc. i have to wait another few days to take a test, and the wait is killing me, lol.

    Welcome and good luck! How many DPO are you? I try to avoid testing early, but also don't always succeed. If you are willing to potentially waste a test by testing early, go for it! I hope your stay is S&S.

    I don't know what the PM is...I just got back on the boards. 

    What I can tell you is that you can be like me and buy some Dollar Tree tests. That way, you can satisfy your urge to test and not break the bank. For some reason, seeing a negative on a test got me through the rest of the day. I was able to say, "Okay, that sucks, but it's better than wondering all day."

    Lots of luck to you! 

    This is what I do as well. I usually buy a bunch of internet cheapies (Amazon.com or Early-Pregnancy-Tests.com) and use those without feeling bad. Good luck! Hope you won't have to stay here long.

    This!  I'm back to this board as a "second time newbie" as DH and I will be TTC #2 on my next cycle.  Lurk around a bit, read the Newbie link and check out fertilityfriend.com.  You may also want to read Taking Charge Of Your Fertility (TCOYF).  All are great resources.  As far as the Princesses...(so as not to offend them, because there are definitely entertaining Big Smile) I believe they are Alter Ego's (AE's) who sort of keep the "rules" in check on this board.  While it can get a bit heated from time to time on this board, it's pretty much in good fun and as I said entertaining!  Good luck on your TTC journey and welcome!

    Welcome and good luck! I recommend you start charting if you haven't; it's a great way to learn about your body and cycles.

    The Princess Mafia is a group of AEs (AE= alter ego, which is a regular bumpie using a fake screen name b/c they don't have the balls to say what they really feel under their real sn). For the most part, the PM just says it like it is. Though they are getting a little redundant, they are ok in my book as I have yet to see them personally attack anyone.

    GL! Hope you don't have to stay here long!

    I got like 10 tests off Amazon and they were super cheap,

    Tested with one last night and got a BFP, so they seem to work :)

    BFP 1: Sept 5, 2011 - Ended in Chemical Pregnancy at 5 Weeks
    BFP 2: Dec 2012 - Baby Girl born in July 2012
    BFP 3: Sept 5, 2013 - D&C on Oct 16, 2013
    BFP 4: Jan 30, 2014 - Stick baby Stick ... Due Date Oct 1, 2014

    thanks everyone for the good luck wishes and for the welcome...according to my ticker i still have two days more until testing. my af ranges from twenty eight to thirty six days, so keeping track of o is difficult. i average thirty though most months.
