No love for being Swollen!!

That is the only complaint I have about my pregnancy! Swollen hands,feet and ankles! Though my dr is not concerned yet b/c my blood pressure is ok and they havent found any protein in my urine.. But my appts are always first thing in the morning.. And to me I havent done anything for my blood pressure to be up! I m thinking next appt I will make for around lunch so she can see how much I do swell.. propping up my legs or staying off of them doesnt seem to help either it just usually goes down by the time I get up in the a.m. Even this morning I am swollen already! No

    See I'm just the opposite...swollen hands, feet and ankles, but I get it the worst in the morning just when I wake up...my fingers are asleep too..then as the day goes on they get less and less swollen..it's really weird. I'm going to the Dr. next week.

    If your bp is up, then its going to be up in the morning too.  Sadly swelling is very normal and all this heat isn't helping in the least bit.

     And for pp - carpel tunnel at night just makes for funny stories at work.  Nothing like trying to wipe after peeing when your fingers are asleep.   I hope it doesn't get worse than that!!

    You are not alone!!  My feet and ankles are like their own cartoon characters.  My company has a "No Flip Flop" policy.  I went to my boss, lifted the legs of my pants to show the craziness that was once really cute feet and ankles and I was QUICKLY approved to wear flops for the duration of my pregnancy.  It's all I can wear.

    I feel your pain! My swelling started this week. After a 4 hour flight last night, I got home and my ankles had disappeared. It was such a weird/freaky feeling! I'm hoping it was just travel related and doesn't stick around, but who knows!!

    My feet get super swollen almost every night!!!  The worst part about it is that they hurt.  I had a Dr. Appt yesterday and since my BP is good, they said just to elevate them as much as possible and to lay off the salt.  However, make sure you pay attention to redness and pain in your calves due to blood clots.
