Pregnant after IF

MFM said to work from home

Yay! I've so hit a wall this week.  I feel about 50 weeks pregnant and older than sin.  I had my regular u/s and the good news is babies look great - no fluid problems and they both weighed in a 2lbs 11 oz.   They've also moved and are both head up with their four little feet dancing on my bladder.

I just asked what her thoughts were on continued working and she said how do you feel...and I said not good.  So we're going to try working from home two days a week but she said we'd move it to 3 days pretty soon.  I feel such a huge sense of relief.

  • so glad to hear you had a great appt!

i've been WFH mondays and fridays all month, and i can tell you my energy level and the way i feel is so much better those days. you are going to love it!

next week is my last day in the office. i'm going to start WFH full time in august, and i'm hoping that losing all the stress of commuting helps keep my babies cooking longer :)

Even though I can do alot of my job from home my boss is not a big work from home fan for anyone.  I talked to her about a month ago that I thought I'd be taken out of work early and what was her preference - to wait until I had to be put on disability and then could not work at all or work from home some to try to keep working longer...she said work longer. I think it was helpful to pave the way.
