First time trying...well sort of

My husband and I just experienced our first time "trying" the other night. By trying I mean I am off birth control and I will just leave it at that without details. Anyways, I say sort of because I didnt do things they tell you to do when trying like stay laying, tilt your pelvis up..ect..ect. But as we know some people get pregnant without doing all this when they dont even know this so their always may be a chance it worked. We are really trying mid August, but just thought we would try once and see what happens...it was during my O week but not on or a day before or after the main day.

Welcome to the board. As PP stated the newbie link at the top of the page has a ton of great info for people who are just starting to ttc. I found it really helpful when I first joined this site.

Also Fertility Friends is an amazing online way to chart your cycles, it can help you to know if you are ovulating and what your cycles are like. It's addictive so be careful

Hmm.. ok I tried. I can do better.

Start by learning proper sentence structure, the proper use of commas, and the how to correctly use "commonly misused words" such as their/there.

If you chart, link it to your signature. If you do not chart, you do not know when you O'd.

I think Ladybug assumed you were a newbie (as did I) because your statement that you are only "sort of trying" because you don't tilt your pelvis screams newbie

OK, I'm going to assume that the details that you chose to leave out were the fact that you're charting, using OPK's and know that laying with your hips elevated is just a recipe for a UTI. Otherwise, I'm not sure how you know it was your O week or if your timing was ok.

Sorry I spelled a word wrong and I have read this newbie link 3 months ago. I know in the person's blurb they talk about the myths of tilting your pelvis and all that. I was just meaning "out there it is said to do these things" not that any of its in fact true. Oh and getting pregnant a month earlier than we planned wouldn't really be a oops baby lol...anyways sorry for writing this post, I guess I was just excited that we tried and wanted to write it out.
