City Mini Double Stroller v. Peg Perego Aria 60/40

Hi All,

Just wanted your input on the two strollers. Anyone like one over the other? Why? I am debating between the two and have a hard time choosing. I have a peg perego infant car seat and it is compatible with these two double strollers. Thanks for your suggestions!

  • I have the City Mini Double and I am in love with this stroller.  It is super lightweight for a double, turns on a dime and is super easy to fold and throw into the trunk.  I love the way it looks too.

    The Peg looks weird, IMO.

  • I recently considered both and went with the city mini double.  The main reason was the city mini double had a higher weight limit, and I needed something that I can use with all 3 kids.  Also, the city mini just seemed to get better reviews than the Peg.  I have been very happy with the city mini double.  Easy to steer even one handed with a 4 and 2 y/o on board, lightweight compared to my previous double that it replaced, and easy to fold and store.

  • Definitely the city mini.  No question.  I tested out the peg too and really didn't like it at all.  It didn't steer nearly as well as the mini and you just can't beat the fold on the mini or the sunshades.  I love my City Mini Double!

Thank you :)  Your daughter is adorable as well!

I tried out the Select in the store with both kids.  The thing was massive and hard to steer, especially with a toddler and the infant seat.  I had trouble seeing over the infant seat which was closest to me.  I also didn't like that I couldn't see my toddler at the bottom.

Then I tried folding it.  What a PITA!  It is super heavy too.  I could barely lift it!

The city mini double is so much lighter and easier to fold.  It is 26.6 lbs total. The select is 35 lbs with two seats added.

  • I have a 2008 city mini double and LOVE it.  It has been the only stroller that we've used for the twins since the double snap and go.  I'm now pregnant with a singleton and recently purchased the single city mini.  I highly recommend it!
