I feel like this week has been a lot of one-step-forward-two-steps-back for me (baby's doing swimmingly, I'm just a space cadet)! Yesterday I realized, mid-pump, that I didn't have any breastmilk storage bags. OK, I just put the lids on the Medela bottles I pump into and pumped into them all day until I filled 'em then brought them home. This morning I remembered to grab a bag of the breastmilk storage bags...but forgot to bring the bottles back in. So now I have no bottles to pump into and there is NOWHERE around here to go buy any.
Is it possible to pump directly into the Lansinoh Storage bags? I know you can with the Medelas but they had a tab thing for that. Has anyone done it w/the Lansinohs (and a Medela double pump)? I need to pump in an hour and am stressing out. I've been googling like crazy but everyone says "I pump directly into the bags using my Playtex adaptor" which I obviously don't have so that's not helping. I'm already annoyed that I won't really have a clear measure of how much I pump because the measurements on those bags are always wackadoodle.
Any tips? I am trying to imagine a way to rig them with scotch tape and rubber bands but it just has disaster written all over it!!!

Re: HELP! I need to pump into Lansinoh bags!
I would use Scotch tape. The Medela bags have some kind of tape that goes over the pump, I would do the same for the Lansinoh bags. Open the bag, put the pump end in the bag, get a long piece of scotch tape and put it over the pump to fit on either side of the bag.
I'm sorry, hugs! I hope it works out for you.
Here is a pic of how it works with Medela so you get the idea:
