I've been dying to post that ever since SarahPLiz said she wanted to use it as her FB annoucement =)

Alexander Tiberius arrived today at 7:17pm, 5lb 4oz.

Sarah will post her own story but she said I could post the highlights (she was texting most of the day). She got an epi around 11am and was 5cm by 4:29pm. 20 minute of pushing, a little forcep help and Alexander finally made it out into the world after attempting an early escape 2 weeks ago. He was born Sunny Side Up. Ouch! Right now he only needs CPAP for breathing and he's on antibiotics.

Right now, Sarah is still in L&D since she's requiring extra care. Due to a uterine infection she has a fever and rapid heartrate but her blood pressure is improving. There's still a lot more bleeding than there's supposed to be :(. The doctors and nurses are doing everything they can and it appears to be getting better at last check.

I'm headed over there to meet the little man tonight and bring the nurses some goodies =) Not that they need anymore bribes as I brought 2 dozen cupcakes from Sugar Momma's Bakeshop when we had Sarah's shower at the hospital on the 9th. Sugar and caffeine. These are a few of my favorite things.
