For the most people to ba able to go, you have to do it before or after naps. I voted for 11, which has worked well with past birthdays. Most people feel like they can push naps back a bit for a party, since the kids will be all crazy from cupcakes etc.

We recently went to a 2 year old birthday party at noon and it was a NIGHTMARE! We did attend one that was from 10am-12pm and it worked great. Jackson fell asleep as soon as we got in the car and took a solid 3 hour nap afterwards.
We are doing a small family get together this weekend to celebrate Jackson's 2nd birthday and we set it at 4pm. We figured that would be after his nap, so we can ALL party as long as we want without having to leave to put him down for a nap.
I didn't see the option for "My two year old walks laps around his crib and sings songs instead of napping" so I voted ss. Since Max only actually sleeps once or twice a week, we can pretty much do any time. But in general I think late morning or late afternoon is best. We had Max's second birthday at a gym starting at 4:30 and it worked great. We did activities first for about 45 minutes, then had subs and snacks, then presents and cake.
For Jillian's 2nd we did a bouncy place and a 3:30-5pm time slot. It was after nap time but not so late that people expected substantial food. Some of my friends' kids are late nappers, but my take is that the birthday girl/boy gets what works for them and everybody else works around it.

Well, the question was "When does your 2 year old nap?" ...using that info I want to set an appropriate party time....sorry, thought it was clear.
Looking like 4-6 with light snacks is the winner right now (it won't be an open ended house party, it will be at a park, so..)
Yeah, I know, but the all of the words before getting to the answer part said you were wondering what time to have the party and bonus if you have a time that worked well for you, so then I just wasn't sure which question you meant, and i decided the subject line was the question. Maybe I was just dense. And I guess I'm surprised that any 2 year olds nap at 10... None of our friends did morning naps at that age. I

It was a little unclear if you were asking for party time or nap time... I wonder if anyone's 2 year olds actually nap at 10??
I think your safest party time would be 10-12... most kids nap in the afternoon.

For pre-nap I would do 9-11 if you don't want to do a meal or 10-1 if you want to include lunch.
We did 3:30 which worked great. People drifted in after naptime but pretty much everyone was there by 4.
