Great article! I LOVE using Excel to track my BM too... great idea about air sealing the bags...we got one for on wedding 3.5 yrs ago and I have yet to use it! Now I just need to get a deep freezer!
If my milk has been in the normal freezer a month or two, will it still last up to a year once I put it in the deep freezer or does it need to be done right away?
I couldn't agree more on your method! DS goes down around 9pm and sleeps until 6-6:30am. I wake up at 4:30am to pump and I get 8.5-10oz each time. I just started back at work and get about 2oz extra a day. I'm up to about 300oz in the deep freezer Instead of putting them in a sealed bag, I just take a large freezer bag, label the dates the bags run from and the total oz in that large bag.

I would think so - A year from the date you initially froze it. They do make 1/2 deep freezes - they're cheaper and easier to move.

I also think when you pump a little extra like that - the weight comes off quicker. (Bonus!!)
