  As long as they are not opened they can stay out all the time. Once opened they need to be cold. They are good 1 hr from the first time it touches babies mouth.

  We've recieved plenty of these bottles in the mail as freebies, at our Drs office, and at the hospital. If they are unopened, they can be stored at room temp until their "use by"/expiration date.

  Once opened and drank from, they can be kept for 1 hr; even if stored in the fridge (according to the Similac rep I spoke with on the phone when I called a couple days ago).

  I don't recall how long you can keep an open, but unused bottle in the fridge though...

  Unopened they don't need to be refrigerated. Once opened one hour, like the packaging says. You aren't supposed to keep them at all even if you pour only part into a bottle.

  So if I am only supplementing with a fourth of an ounce then I will just have alot of waste right? Is there an easier way?
