There was a post about someone taking lo out of the carseat to play while driving and not feeling sorry about it despite flames so someone else looked up who they were irl and apparently reported them to cps. The reporter then got flamed and the initial poster gbcb'ed.

Nah. It's really not epic until you start getting people from other boards joinging in on the fun. A few wandering over from other month boards really doesn't qualify.

I haven't seen this XP'ed any where so far.

It started last night when someone asked about driving on a long trip and wether or not they should split it between 2 days or do it all in one. She proclaimed that she took LO out of the car seat during a meltdown to get through the long drive.

Supposedly there was no rest stop for 40 miles on a toll road in Kansas and there was not much traffic. She kept defending it even though I pointed out how many problems there were with that arrangement. Then apparently the proverbial sh!t hit the fan sometime today.

She wasn't driving. DH was... but that's bad enough!

Oh, and that pulling over to the side of the road was just as, if not more, dangerous than taking the baby out of the seat.

She kept on justifying her actions over and over and over. It was...disturbing.

Missed that part! I thought she claimed that it was only once... Yikes.

This reminds me of the post on 3-6 in the last week or so where the person was going to have her child face forward in the car seat at 6 months. We were all fvcked in the head for telling her that she was completely irresponsible.

Yikes! That took forever to catch up on, but Whoooolly Shiiit! That was insane. For the record I find it disturbing that OP was so nonchalant and backpedeling, but I am not sure yet if I agree with the CPS thing. Still trying to wrap my head around the madness...
