28 is too young to have arthritis, right? ![]()
Just in case, anyone here have arthritis?
How did you know?
How was it diagnosed?
What helps it?
I have been having a lot of pain in my fingers. Like a few weeks ago I picked up a watermelon, no issues, carried it from the store to my car. Last week I hurt badly trying to pick up a new watermelon, stuck it in my cart and then had to roll it out in the cart to my car and it hurt to lift
Fingers only so I am pretty sure it is not carpal tunnel since that would be wrist.
I mean it could just be overexertion maybe? because a certain 2 yo is quite heavy and still has to be picked up regularly.
Re: Arthritis
I have arthritis in my right hip and have since about 8th grade. I had undiagnosed hip displaysia when I was born, and had to be in a spica cast for a few months when I was 2. They told me I'd probably have arthritis young in that hip, and they were right! In late middle school it would start hurting a lot if I was unusually active, or if it was really rainy.
I just try to take Advil before, during and after if I'm going to be on my feet all day walking a lot. And I use Advil when it rains too. It doesn't make the pain completely go away, but it's enough so that I can walk without hobbling like an old lady!
