i like small town living, i really do.

but i'm having a hard time finding a pedi who closely fits my parenting style, i don't think anyone else in my town bf past a couple weeks, and no one believes in baby led weaning, if they've even heard of it. you would think i told em i was planning on throwing ds down the stairs several times a day. i feel better, vent over :) thanks for reading and/or commiserating!

    Stick to your guns, you may open the eyes of a few women around you who didn't know that was even an option. People tend to do things like that (repeating behaviors like BFing only to 4 wks, gerber baby food, etc) because they never knew there was another option. Just do what you do. I bet you might have a few women soon thinking you might be onto something. :)

    I feel you! Most people around here give me the side eye for still BFing my DD. Luckily though I do have a pedi who is extremely supportive of BFing and loves my parenting decisions. I think I Just got lucky with that though...
