What is this pain?

in Pregnant after IF
I'm only 6 weeks, so I can't find anything that I "should" be feeling right now. But when I sneeze I feel like my uterus is trying to escape! It hurts really bad across  my lower abdomen. Any ideas what it could be?

    Sounds like it could be stretching or round ligament pain.

    I have the same kinda feeling.....and when I cough hard too.  I asked my OB about it this morning and he said its just from your uterus and what not growing and expanding and then when you put pressure on it like that it just kinda pulls on everything a little more and it hurts.  Pretty much told me to QUIT WORRYING SO MUCH!!  Easier said than done :)  I have this picture of blowing the baby out my vagina every time I sneeze!  They are sturdy little buggers though and I just have to remember that :)

    Ditto, it's probably round ligament pain caused by everything stretching in there.  I had it starting right around that same time every time I coughed, sneezed, or laughed really hard.  It helps to hold your gut if you think you're going to sneeze and kind of bend over a bit.

    Thanks girls! For once I wasn't actually worried, just curious. I thought RLP but figured it was too early.

    I'm only 4.5 weeks and when I sneeze or cough I get a pain down there ... it's quick though.  Just figured it was stretching or something!  Glad to know I'm not crazy! LOL

    I know I was super surprised how soon I felt all that stuff going on down there. It makes me wonder how people are pregnant and don't know it!

    Like everyone has said, it's normal. It's just stretching going on. I had that and still do occasionally and the pain puts me on the floor.  I also get it sometimes from laughing, especially if I'm laying on my left side when I start laughing.  I hope it's not too painful for you. <3
