Does anyone's LO do this? I wasn't too worried about it but I mentioned it to DD's daycare teacher this morning that she was sleeping in the carseat slumped forward. The daycare teacher mentioned that it could cut off her airway!!! Any suggestions on how to avoid this/make sure it doesn't happen??
Re: Leaning/slumping forward in carseat
yes she can, thank you!
Life of mrsjanks
Since J could hold his head up he always wants to sit up or stand up so it always looked to me like he was trying to sit up more straight in the car seat. But he's done it for a long time.
It scared me to death the first time he fell asleep that way! I looked back and he was slumped over against the harness and his chin on his chest. I reached back and gave his little arm a shake and he didnt wake up! Oh, it was terrifying but he was just asleep! I hate it that there isnt anything to keep him from doing that, because even if he is asleep and I try to adjust his head it just flops back to where it was.
