Can you please share your stories?  I am in the 2ww with my first IUI (after ttc #2 for over a year) and could really just use some HOPE.  TIA!

    I was technically successful (for #2) on my 2nd IUI, but I don't really count the first one.  My first IUI I hadn't responded to the meds but we really needed to check DH's sperm and it wasn't going to be much of a cost difference so we went ahead and did it.

    For my 2nd IUI I responded well (Femara 7.5mg) and it worked.  It was my first ever cycle where I had hope because everything worked out.  I had been TTC #2 for about 20months.  Good luck to you.

    I got pregnant after my first IUI.  We didn't do the IUI until both DH and I had a full workup, which uncovered some mild problems (including polyps that could have been preventing implantation, which were then removed).  After that I did Bravelle injections then a trigger shot.  I remember that 2ww...it was torture!  Hang in there and good luck!

    I am pregnant with twins after our 1st IUI.  Full details in siggy.  For the record, my only symptom was having to pee more than usual and I really thought that was all in my head until I got the BFP.  Good luck to you!!

    Diagnosed PCOS 2/07, TTC #1 since 8/09
    11/10 - Clomid Round 1 = BFN
    12/10 - Clomid Round 2 = BFN
    1/11 - Voluntary Break = BFN (duh)
    2/11 - Clomid Round 3 = BFN
    3/11 - Femara + IUI = BFP * Beta#1=56 * Beta#2=266
    *Cautiously expecting baby girls on November 28, 2011*

    MrsVo....good to hear!  Mind if I ask how many follicles you had when they did the u/s for the IUI?  I had one dominant and a bunch of smaller ones.  Congratulations!

    I was successful on my second IUI we had been trying for 25 months for #1. I was on clomid to increase thr number of follicles which I had 2. DH was also on clomid for low count which did improve. I was so hopeful that IUI #1 was going to work but for whatever reason it didnt work. The second IUI I thought was not going to work from the beginning because I was told the sperm count was low during the IUI but that was the one that ended up working. So really you never know. Hopefully it works for you soon!

    I was successful w/ IUI #1!  I was on 50mg of Clomid & parlodel (for my prolactin levels).  I had 2 mature follies on on side, and 1 mature on the other.  I am pregnant with one LO!  Best of luck to you, I hope you're as lucky as I was and that #1 works.

    I had one definite mature egg, and two other possible mature eggs.  IUI #1 worked - one little Buddha on the way!

    During IUI #1, they had me on clomid, but that made my lining so thin that we were pretty sure it wasn't going to work.  After that, the RE switched me to injectables (Gonal-F).  When I triggered before IUI #2, we knew there were two bigger follicles, and a third one that was trailing a little.  Turns out that two of the follicles stuck!

    Wink I had my 1ST and 2nd IUI on 6/28 and 6/29.  I am 5 weeks pregnant.  It can happen the first time.  I am 36 years old.

     my symptoms were very sore boobs and a lot of cramping since the day I had both IUIs.  Still cramping.  I was suppose to wait to do test by I did it 3 days earlier then they told me to and I was positive!!! 

     We are unexplainted and my husband had a fabulous sperm count.....good luck!!!

    TTC 4 years Husband-50 Me-36 'UNEXPLAINED INFERTILITY" 6/15/11-period started 6/16/11-us showing 23 antral follicles 6/17-6/21-clomid 50 mg 6/23/11-follistim inj (150 mg) 6/26/11-US (3 follicles 26, 26, 19) estradiol 1100 OVIDREL TRIGGER AT 7 PM 6/27/11 IUI #1 (60 million sperm post wash) 6/28/11 IUI #2 (60 million sperm post wash) 7/5/11-progesterone level 7/12/11- first day I can do pregnancy test

    I got pregnant on my 3rd IUI.  My RE says really it was only 2.5 though because my second IUI cycle I wasn't able to do my injects.  I had 3 mature follicles on IUI #3  and will find out on Tuesday how many gestational sacs are in there!!

    IUI #1 worked for us. Did bravelle, triggered with 2 follies. We ended up with 2 sacs, but just one baby. We were beyond thrilled that our first IUI worked. We were going to move straight to IVF after since we were OOP, and the one IUI cycle was over $3000 with meds. I hope you have the same good luck!

    DD born December 28, 2011 at 34w6d

    Baby #3 due June 14, 2015

    I'm sorry I didn't see this yesterday!  I had only one follie.  Even my RE was shocked to learn we were having twins.
